Shoot In China is a China creative video agency based in Shanghai, providing creative development, video production and post-production for brands, companies and agencies. Our English-Chinese team helps turn a brief into a concept, script and practical shooting plan.
Since 2012, we have supported corporate films, brand stories, commercials, product launches, interviews and social content. We can work from a finished client concept or develop the treatment and script together, depending on the project.
Creative Concepts, Scripts and Storyboards
Start with the audience, message, intended use and budget range. Reference films, brand guidelines and existing scripts help us discuss the direction without assuming every project needs the same visual style.
Creative development can include treatments, interview outlines, scripts, storyboards and shot lists. Agree the deliverables and approval stages before production, so casting, locations, equipment and filming days follow the approved concept.

From the Approved Concept to Filming
Pre-production brings the script together with locations, casting, crew, equipment and schedule. Our bilingual producers coordinate the client and local team, while the director and camera crew plan the framing, lighting and coverage.
For projects led by an overseas agency, agree which creative assets are supplied and which need local development. Filming across several cities should follow shared visual references and a shot list so the footage works together.
Editing and Delivery Versions
Post-production can include editing, color grading, sound, motion graphics and subtitles. Agree the review stages, language versions, aspect ratios, running times and delivery deadline before editing starts.
