Shoot In China provides film production support for commercials, documentaries, corporate films and branded content in China. Our bilingual producers, production managers and fixers coordinate the local services required by the brief, from preparation and crew booking to filming and delivery.
Film Production Support Services
The scope can include budgeting, scheduling, location scouting, crew hire, equipment rental, casting, transport and on-set coordination. Camera, lighting, grip and sound requirements follow the shot list, locations and available preparation time.
For international teams, agree what is handled by the overseas production and what the local team coordinates. Contributor research, interview scheduling, casting and art department work should be identified early rather than assumed to be part of a basic crew booking.

Locations, Access and Travel Planning
Our production network supports Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other locations according to the project. Remote or restricted locations need individual feasibility checks, local communication and an appropriate schedule; an enquiry is not a guarantee of access.
For overseas personnel or imported equipment, identify travel, documentation and entry requirements with the appropriate official sources or advisers before booking. We can discuss coordination needs, but the page does not prescribe one visa category for every commercial, documentary or other production.

Crew, Filming and Handover
Confirm the DOP, camera, lighting, sound and production roles needed on the day. Agree English-Chinese communication, equipment preparation, access hours and how client feedback will reach the crew. Any aerial filming has its own feasibility and permission requirements.
For the final handover, specify recording formats, backups, transfer destination and delivery deadline. Editing, color grading, graphics, subtitles and language versions can be scoped separately. List any additional language versions or specialist requirements in the brief so the schedule and quote describe the actual work to be delivered. For interviews, identify speakers and agree the questions, location setup and recording time. For product filming, prepare the items and demonstrations needed for each shot before the crew arrives.
