Need connectivity for a production in China? Shoot In China helps plan 5G hotspot rental, footage uploads and remote viewing around the location and the amount of data involved. A camera upload, a live client feed and an event stream have different technical needs.

Choose the Setup Around the Task

Options can include a hotspot or CPE router for crew access and file transfers, or a streaming package with an encoder and multiple network connections. Confirm the proposed devices, SIM arrangements, power and support for your dates before booking. A router rental alone is not a complete livestream production service.

Uploading Footage and Proxies

Share the estimated data volume, destination and delivery deadline. Original camera files and lightweight review proxies require different transfer time. Plan card offloads, backups, naming and verification before deleting or handing over media.

Coverage, Data and On-Site Testing

Mobile performance depends on the venue, network coverage, signal, congestion and the device configuration. Test the actual upload and viewing workflow at the location where possible. Confirm data allowances, traffic charges, connection limits and responsibility for setup and troubleshooting.

For important live sessions, agree a backup connection and a way to continue recording if the feed is interrupted. Building access, power and venue internet arrangements should be confirmed separately; no mobile package can guarantee the same speed or coverage at every location.

Remote Viewing and Live Production

Tell us the number of viewers, video and audio needs, session length and whether talkback is required. Confirm that the chosen service and viewing destination work for both the local crew and overseas client. A connectivity check is part of planning, not a promise of uninterrupted delivery.
