The Sony PMW-F3 fitted with the S-Log Output Option increases the dynamic range of the camera markedly and when used in conjunction with the PIX 240 or Convergent Gemini 4:4:4 Recorder turns this camera into a practical cost effective Digital Film camera for Dramas or Feature production. Choose whether to record uncompressed or compressed with AVID DNxHD, Prores 4444 or Cineform codecs etc.
Recording in a 4:4:4 colourspace increases the accuracy of the colour detail and the full S Log option provides a non S Log output (Rec709) for Directors to see a regular image.
