Shanghai Video Crew for Hire | Bilingual Camera Crew in China
Shoot In China coordinates Shanghai video crew hire for corporate interviews, commercials, documentaries and events. Based in Shanghai, our producers discuss the brief, recording requirements and schedule with the client before selecting the crew and equipment. The ABB film and showreel on this page are examples of previous work.
Camera Crew Roles
A small interview may need a camera operator, sound recordist and lighting support. Multi-camera coverage, scripted scenes or larger lighting setups may require a DOP, assistants, gaffer, grips and DIT. Agree who directs the contributors and who communicates with the client. English-Chinese support is arranged for the relevant roles rather than assumed for every technician.

Equipment and Preparation
Camera options can include ARRI, Sony, Canon or RED systems, with lenses and accessories selected against the brief. Confirm availability, recording format, frame rate, audio requirements and client monitoring before booking. Schedule equipment preparation and tests. For camera movement or aerial filming, discuss the shot, location and required support separately.

On-Set Work and Media Handover
Share the addresses, access hours, loading arrangements and contributor timings. Allow time for lighting, microphone checks, rehearsals and moving between locations. Agree how changes to the shot list or schedule are approved. Assign responsibility for media copies, verification and delivery to the editor. Confirm whether the booking includes editing or camera originals only.
Crews Outside Shanghai
For shoots in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu or other cities, discuss local crew, equipment sourcing and travel days. Use shared interview framing, lighting references and recording settings when footage from several teams will be edited together. Identify a location contact for each site and confirm the scope before the crew travels.
Send your brief, filming dates, locations and delivery requirements to [email protected]. See our production work for examples and contact us to discuss the scope and quote.
