Location scouting in Zhe Jiang China for video production

Another busy month for shootinchina, we have been busy these days in Zhe Jiang China for a location scouting, and this city called Yu Hang ( part of Hangzhou ) has this Europe(Paris more or less)  like town, and the most interesting thing is the Paris Tower here is outstanding.

 

From few hundred meters away, this tower really caught our attention, and not like the Shanghai’s one in SongJiang, this one is more difficult to build, we were talking about how silly it is to put a fake tower in this place, and it used to be a ghost town(no people lives here due to the over development), but now it’s been occupied by new comers.

 

Although this tower has no elevator to take you to the top, but this is still a amazing landmark for the locals, at some point the sales manager we met today told us there is a subway line ready to be built under the tower, but this is not likely to happen in a few months, it is still empty around the tower, apart from some old farmers growing some plants in this place.

 

If you ever have time, feel free to take a train from Shanghai Hongqiao train station, to Yu Hang station, take normally less than one hour, it is the best thing to do if you want to visit something unique in China. The location name is called Tian Du Cheng.
