Shoot In China arranges Hong Kong camera crews through our production network for international clients filming interviews, corporate stories, branded content and events. Our Shanghai-based team has supported productions since 2012, connecting visiting filmmakers with local personnel and production contacts.

Some assignments need a small local filming unit; others arrive with a director or photographer and need additional departments. We arrange the crew around the subject, location and people already part of the project.

Interviews and Company Stories

An executive interview or customer story depends on more than a camera booking. We coordinate contributor times, the filming room and the local crew, with lighting and sound arranged for the setting.

For company films, the team can capture interviews and supporting images of people at work. A producer follows the schedule with the client and local contacts, so a short period of contributor availability can be used for the scenes that matter.

Local Crew and Production Contacts

Camera operators, cinematographers, assistants, lighting and sound personnel can be arranged according to the filming plan. We confirm language needs with the actual people involved, rather than assuming that every crew member speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Local production support helps coordinate the venue, equipment and transport. Access conditions and any relevant filming requirements are checked for the specific location and activity, then discussed with the visiting team.

Events and Remote Client Participation

For events, we can coordinate videographers and photographers around the programme, including interviews or supporting coverage away from the main stage. The crew plan reflects the material the client needs after the event.

Multi-camera recording, streaming or remote participation can be considered with the venue and technical team where required. Connection, audio and monitoring arrangements need to fit the actual site; those details are part of preparation rather than a standard promise attached to every booking.

Connecting Hong Kong with the Rest of the Shoot

We can coordinate Hong Kong filming alongside other city shoots when a regional project needs several local units. Equipment and personnel are arranged for each location, with a common production conversation keeping the material connected.
