Our Chengdu camera crew supports corporate films, interviews, commercials, documentaries and events for international clients. Shoot In China has worked across China since 2012, with a Shanghai base and a network of filmmakers and production contacts in Chengdu.
A local crew can cover an interview for an overseas production or work alongside a visiting director on a larger shoot. Our bilingual producers coordinate the people, equipment and location arrangements around the camera, so the client can stay involved in the film without managing every local conversation.
Corporate Interviews and Workplace Filming
For an executive or employee interview, our camera, lighting and sound crew builds a setup around the room and the contributor’s available time. A bilingual producer helps the interviewer and local company team communicate, including when a conversation develops beyond the prepared questions.
We also film the supporting scenes that explain the business: employees at work, facilities, products and processes. In a working office or factory, our producer coordinates with the site contact while the crew works around access, noise and the operations already taking place.
Commercial and Documentary Crews
A commercial may need a DOP, camera assistants, lighting and grip departments working closely with a director. A documentary assignment may call for a smaller team who can move between locations and respond to the people being filmed. We arrange the crew around the production and the departments the client already has.
Local support can include scouting, contributor coordination, transport and access enquiries. For aerial filming, we check the proposed location, permissions and operating conditions with the relevant local contacts before confirming what can be arranged.
Camera, Lighting and Sound Together
We coordinate cameras, lenses, lighting, grip and audio with the crew using them. The setup can stay compact for a short interview or expand for a commercial, conference or multi-day production. Equipment availability is confirmed for the shoot rather than assumed from a standard rental list.
Event filming can include multi-camera coverage, live switching and streaming support. For clients directing from overseas, our producer can also coordinate remote viewing and feedback where the location and connection allow it.
Chengdu and the Next Location
A production in Chengdu may continue elsewhere in Sichuan or on to another city. Our network connects the local arrangements with Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Hong Kong, keeping the filming part of one production.
We coordinate the camera approach and footage handoff across locations, whether an overseas editor will finish the film or our team is providing editing, colour, sound and language versions. The client has a bilingual production contact who stays familiar with the project as it moves.
